ABOUT ME
"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others" ~Mahatma Ghandi

Hello! I am Leilani and I am ecstatic that you are here, taking the first step in helping yourself or your family. I have a passion for helping others and look forward to understanding how I can support you.
I am originally from Reston, Virginia, USA (a suburb of Washington, D.C.) and spent most of my life in various parts of Virginia. For the past nine years, I have lived abroad with my family in London, UK and Dubai, UAE. For this reason, I am particularly passionate about supporting others who live or have lived a globally mobile lifestyle.
I graduated with high distinction from The University of Virginia with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Religious Studies. After conducting research on parenting skills in at-risk communities, I pursued a Master's degree at The College of William and Mary. My focus on Marriage and Family Counseling has prepared me to work with individuals and groups from a systemic perspective.
I have credentials as a Qualified Mental Health Professional and am currently licensed as a Social Counselor (CDA) in Dubai, UAE.
I offer counseling, consulting, public speaking, workshop, and coaching services to clients all over the world.
While working in private practice, Upper/High Schools, Lower/Elementary Schools, and community settings I have supported numerous clients and their families optimize their lives. I am happy to provide Individual Counseling, Couples and Marriage Counseling, Family Counseling, and even play-based Children's Counseling for our youngest ones. Clients often come to me to receive support in facing challenges in parenting, low confidence, peer conflict, familial conflict, anxious or depressive symptoms, academic challenges, organizational deficits, transitional stressors, conflict in family decisions,
or a simple desire to want more out of life!
I support individuals as young as 4 to older adults with reaching their personal goals, building strong family units, repairing relationships, and becoming peaceful, intentional parents and family members. I love working with all types of families and have a passion for working with people who live away from their home countries or whom are raising multiracial or multicultural children. From my personal experience living as an expat and raising biracial children, I understand the intricacies and complications of living, working, and raising global citizens.
In my free time, I enjoy being active, time outside, traveling, being creative, baking, and spending quality time with my family and friends!
